The Story of Robert Jaquinot & His Wife Elise

Richard Jaquinot loves icecream.  He is never without it.  He loves the smooth and sweet tasting cream more than anything else in the world. He becomes lazy, fat, and a bit tired too. Not surprisingly, his wife, Elise, slips out of his life and into the arms of other men. Richard is very unhappy about this.  For a while, he tries to be a lover man too; first with other women and then with one man. But it doesn’t work out. Icecream is all he really loves.  What to do?  Ask his mother for help, of course.  The wise old woman gives him an answer that both astonishes and impresses him.  Maybe he does not quite know what she is talking about–without her teeth, it is easy to miss the message.  But what he understood, he tries.  And–sure enough, Robert becomes a skinny womanizer!!  Elise catches him in the act!  She is so upset, she goes to see a shrink and immedaitely falls in love with him.  They are soon married.  Robert doesn’t care.  He returns loyally to the one true love of his life–ice cream.  He is happy.  Fat again.  And surrounds himself with slim young women who sleep well at night.
